Villa Almanita
Clara and Toph flew all the way from Los Angeles to get married at one of my favorite wedding villas in Sitges – Villa Almanita. I’ve worked at this beautiful Mediterranean villa more than any other, and it remains one of my absolute favorites for destination weddings in Sitges.

Although it’s often referred to as a Sitges wedding venue, this beautiful villa is actually located in the small Catalan town of Sant Pere de Ribes, just a short drive from Sitges.
It has the kind of relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere that makes you feel like you are truly in Catalonia, with beautiful outdoor spaces, traditional details, and plenty of character.
Since Clara and Toph’s wedding, the villa has changed owners and undergone major renovations. The result is a more modern and comfortable space while still preserving the original character and Mediterranean style.
Additional rooms have been added, and the common areas have been significantly improved, giving couples and their guests more space to enjoy the property throughout the wedding weekend.
I also have a particularly close connection with Villa Almanita. I’m the official photographer for the villa’s website, so the photographs you see on their site are my own.
This has given me the opportunity to photograph the property extensively and to know its different spaces, changing light, and best locations for wedding photography in Sitges very well.
Clara and Toph’s guests and family came from all over the world: the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany… Quite a mix of accents and languages gathered in one place to celebrate.
From the very beginning, photographing this wedding felt less like working and more like being among friends. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, and it didn’t take long for me to feel part of the group.
And judging by the party pictures, this was definitely a wild and fun bunch!
Little did I know Clara and Toph would end up moving to Sant Pere de Ribes. Since then we have become best friends and we see each other often.
There was also an extra reason for Clara’s parents, who are from Spain and France, to celebrate. Their daughter was pregnant with their first grandson, Elliot.
It added another layer of excitement to an already very special day.
One of my favorite memories from this wedding actually happened before the celebrations really got going.
When I first walked into the villa, I noticed a huge puzzle sitting there, already halfway completed.
I told the guys that, considering how complicated it was – and the amount of partying that was about to take place – I wasn’t convinced they were ever going to finish it.
Well, I was wrong. Weeks later, Toph told me they had completed it. They even had one of their wedding photographs turned into a puzzle as a surprise for their first anniversary. Such a perfect detail for them.
If you’re looking for a wedding villa in Sitges with character, space, and a Mediterranean atmosphere, I highly recommend Villa Almanita. Explore more Sitges wedding venues in my complete guide to wedding villas in Sitges.

Villa Almanita is one of the most charming wedding villas in Sitges. The stone architecture, lush gardens, and Mediterranean atmosphere make it a dream location for destination weddings. The ceremony takes place in the garden, surrounded by greenery and traditional Catalan details.

Clara prepared in one of the villa’s rooms, among her closest girlfriends. It was a relaxed and fun atmosphere to the point that Clara asked if I felt okay around all these women, to which I replied “why wouldn’t I be?”.

The ceremony took place in the garden, surrounded by the villa’s lush greenery. Clara walked down the aisle with her father. The couple exchanged personal vows. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

After the ceremony, we took some time for portraits around the villa. The stone walls, archways, and Mediterranean light created the perfect backdrop. Clara and Toph were so natural in front of the camera, and their love for each other was evident in every frame.

The reception was held outdoors in the patio in front of the house. The highlight? A giant paella served to all the guests – a true taste of Spain! The dance floor was packed all night, with guests from all over the world celebrating together. It was the kind of party that makes destination weddings in Sitges so special.
