Castell de Tamarit wedding venue

By popular demand, here’s our latest Castell de Tamarit wedding portfolio. We have received several inquiries from couples who are planning a destination wedding at Castell de Tamarit in Tarragona next. Many of them have asked us for sample images of what the venue looks like in photos.

The place is just gorgeous as it is full of ancient stone walls that are ideal for photos. This is in fact, an authentic castle dated back to the 1600! It even has its own chapel in case you want to celebrate the ceremony indoors. Some couples, however, prefer to do it in the garden, overlooking the mediterranean sea. Not a bad option either, but perhaps warmer, especially in the summer months. Keep that in mind, you three-piece-suit wearers.

The rooms are tastefully decorated in a vintage style with authentic furniture. The bride and groom can carry out their preparations away from each other without the risk of crossing paths. The Wedding

The images below, belong to Marina and Peter’s destination wedding which took place in June. A Spaniard bride in love with an Irish groom and a full set of guests coming from all over the world.

The band they hired was another pleasant surprise, one of the best I have seen. Probably hard to book these days due to their increasing popularity but well worth it. Check them out at ad libitum musica.

After the usual email exchanges with the bride and groom, the schedule for the day was fixed and as it always happens, the day unveiled perfectly in time and in tune. Read more about the advantages of hiring a local wedding photographer.

A short photo session with Marina and Peter gave us what we wanted, beautiful and candid images of the couple in different locations of the castle. We didn’t even need to walk down to the beach.
