I am thrilled to introduce you to yet another magnificent venue nestled in the picturesque vicinity of Sitges within the Barcelona province. Torre del Veguer, a name that may ring familiar to many, has become the beloved choice for numerous couples, both local and international, when it comes to hosting their unforgettable wedding ceremony. Much like several other charming “Masias” in this enchanting region, Torre del Veguer is enveloped by lush vineyards, a picturesque backdrop that adds an extra layer of charm to its identity. Remarkably, this venue is not just a haven for lovebirds but also doubles as a splendid winery.
The heart of Torre del Veguer resides in its main building, an architectural marvel resembling a castle, complete with its very own quaint chapel, steeped in history, dating all the way back to the year 1359. While the chapel exudes an old-world charm perfect for traditional ceremonies, some couples, like Juliette and Chris, prefer to embrace the natural beauty of the outdoors for their nuptial celebrations.
Juliette and Chris’s wedding, a recent event held at Torre del Veguer, was a testament to the venue’s ability to bring together people from various corners of the globe. With Juliette’s family hailing from Colombia and Chris’s roots firmly planted in the USA, the wedding was a delightful fusion of cultures and traditions. This unique blend was most evident on the dance floor, where guests of all ages showcased their incredible dancing skills, leaving everyone in awe. Never before had such a diverse group moved in such perfect harmony, embodying the spirit of unity and love that Torre del Veguer so gracefully fosters.
Catering for the event was expertly handled by Eskisit Catering, a well-respected local company based in Sitges. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with them on multiple occasions, and their professionalism and friendly demeanor always shine through. Seeing Cristina and her mom at each wedding I work is a comforting familiarity. Most importantly, the food they provide lives up to their name, “Eskisit,” delivering delicious flavors that truly impress.
