Casa Felix

A short meeting in Sitges in mid-September was all it took to fall in love with this young British couple. Laid back, well-experienced travelers, the whole wedding was a blast. So laid back they didn’t even check Casa Felix villa on their first visit.
Between our first meeting and the wedding day, several emails were exchanged. Details, timing, vendors, beer break…

Picture this. You arrive at Casa Felix in the middle of vineyards in Olivella, Spain, and the first person you see is the father of the bride sporting a “Pollos Hermanos” t-shirt. From that point on, you know things are going to be just perfect.
Casa Felix is a great venue for relaxing and kicking back. The villa has a fantastic pool with amazing views looking over the Olivella mountains. Now, try to find the second pool in the interior patio. 😉
Like all “Masias” (the correct word for Catalan villas), Casa Felix is a bit of a labyrinth if you haven’t been before… many times. It is all part of the fun to try to find your bedroom.

The old village of Olivella consists of a few residential houses and a romanesque church. See the photos below as, in our opinion, it is a great location for photoshoots. We always recommend our clients taking a few minutes to walk over to this location. It is really a five-minute walk. Now, brides might see that walk a bit differently due to wedding shoes, but you can always ask your brand new husband to carry you on his back. Like these two did!

Among all the good decisions Elizabeth and Alex made, there was catering and music. First time for us working with Ambrosía catering and a pleasant surprise. The dinner was self-served to pick from a very wide assortment of typical Mediterranean dishes (variety of cheese, Padrón peppers, grilled shrimp, jamón serrano, oysters…) Fresh produce and great quality!

The band was also new to us and such a great score. The music started in the patio by the pool, and as if it was The Pied Piper of Hamelin, the guys dragged all the guests to the disco area to continue the party madness. There’s nothing like live music to get people in the mood.

So much fun these two!
