This young Norwegian couple chose the prestigious hotel Mandarin located in the most centric street of Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia. When Linett opened the door to their room, I was shocked by her beauty.
Downstairs, in the lobby, I met Njål. After the correct pronunciation of his name was cleared, we headed to Estació de França, one of the oldest train stations in Barcelona built in the 19th century. Without a doubt the most beautiful train station in the city and a mix of architectonic styles.
Conveniently located near Estació de França, we find one of the most beautiful parks in Barcelona: Parc de la Ciutadella. This is one of my favorite locations for photographic sessions. There are many romantic spots to be found if you are a local (like I am) 😉 Linett and Njål were both relaxed and joyful the whole time. This couple knew how to be in front of a camera and it shows!
One of the first guidelines I like to give couples is to act as if I was not there. I love the spontaneous look of candid photography. This also works great for more shy couples and helps them to ease in, some even end up striking a pose!
Ciutadella Park is conveniently close to the church where most Norwegians celebrate their ceremony in Barcelona. There is a 10-minute walk only and you get to go under the Arch of Triumph, one of Barcelona’s most popular sights.
If you haven’t done so yet, the Seaman’s church of Norway has a great website where you can find all information necessary. I am also listed there.
An intimate ceremony at Nostra Sra. del Rosario PP.Dominicos church was the perfect ending for this Boda Express package.
